Tutoring Rates & Policies

​

Session Frequency

​

We recommend a minimum of two 30-minute sessions per week, or one 60-minute session a week, although we have found that one session per week is generally not as effective for consistent progress.

​

Monthly Rates

​

  • $240/month — Two 30-minute sessions per week or One 60-minute session per week.

  • $360/month — Three 30-minute sessions per week, One 90-Minute session, or Two 45-minute sessions. 

These are flat monthly rates. If a month includes a 5th week, those additional sessions are included at no extra charge.  Some months - particularly those with holidays, may have fewer sessions.

Sibling Discount

​

Siblings may attend sessions simultaneously for an additional:

  • $100/month per sibling, per additional 30 minute session (up to three siblings)

A fourth sibling will be charged at an additional full rate.​

 

Scheduling & Additional Sessions

  • Additional sessions may be requested by email or text, subject to tutor availability.

  • Extra sessions are billed at:

    • $50 per 30-minute session

 

Please allow time for confirmation of tutor availability.

 

For permanent changes to a recurring weekly time slot, please contact the office by email.

Absences

​

There are no refunds for missed sessions. Due to our tutors’ schedules, missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or made up.

Students who miss or cancel a session forfeit that session and its associated benefits.

Yearly Schedule

​

We operate year-round, as we believe summer tutoring is essential for preventing learning loss and helping students prepare for the upcoming academic year.

​

Scheduled Closures

 

We are closed for the following holidays and breaks:

  • Halloween

  • Thanksgiving Break

  • Winter Holidays

  • Presidents’ Day Weekend

  • Easter Break (Thursday before Easter through Tuesday after Easter)

  • Memorial Day Weekend

  • Labor Day Weekend

 

We also take two extended breaks each year:

  • A two-week break in late June

  • A two-week break in late August

Payments​

Monthly Card Payments​

​

Tuition is automatically charged on or around the 25th of each month for the upcoming month’s sessions.

All card information is securely stored through Stripe and encrypted for your protection.

​

Cash Payments

​

We offer a 10% discount for families who choose to pay for 6 months in advance with cash. Please contact us if you would like to arrange this payment option.

​

Payment Methods

​

We are unable to accept payments by check.

Students Should Come Prepared

​

To make the most of each tutoring session, students should arrive with all necessary materials, including:

  • Schoolwork and homework

  • Books and assignments

  • Chromebooks and chargers

  • Class notes or study guides

  • Any other materials needed for the tutor to effectively assist them

If a student arrives without the required materials, the tutor will do their best to provide alternative online or physical resources. However, a productive session cannot be guaranteed without the appropriate school materials.
